Fast and stable reconstitution

Lanluma reconstituted solution was put under observation and compared to another popular PLLA. Both products were reconstituted by 1 minute of manual mixing. ​ ​ Lanluma stays stable for a longer period vs competitor whose PLLA particles appear to separate and settle at the bottom and at the top more quickly. A similar behaviour might happen in the syringe during the application impacting the patient's outcome and cannula/needle clogging.

INDICATION

Lanluma is a poly-L-lactic acid implant suitable for increasing the volume of depressed areas, particularly to correct skin depressions.

IMPORTANT SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS

Like all procedures of this type there is a possibility of adverse events, although not everybody experiences them. These adverse events include but are not limited to infection, minimal acute inflammatory tissue reaction (redness, swelling, rash, oedema, erythema, lumps/nodules etc.), pain (which may be temporary or persistent in nature), transient haematoma or bruising.
